Services We Provide
KDR work from one location at Dalkeith near Edinburgh and receive faulty storage devices from all over the world. The devices we are delivered regularly are:

We work with modern operating systems as well as past operating systems: Windows, MAC, Linux and Unix.
How it works
We operate with a no data no fee policy. If data cannot be recovered or a partial recovery is not what you or your client are looking for then you are not charged a labour fee. The exclusions to this policy are encrypted devices and hard drives which have been open previously by a third party. A deposit may be required.
Once we receive the faulty device we conduct a free diagnostic and discuss the results with you within 24 hours (working days). Once cost has been approved we then start work on the recovery.
Once recovery has been complete we send you a file list so you and your client can browse and see what can be recovered.
These are some of the work methods we employ during a data recovery process.
- Temporary repair to allow data extraction
- Clone all faulty devices without exception
- Scanning of clone to locate required data
- Storage of data to our secure servers
- Compile file list of recovered data for client.
- Free transfer of data to destination device (if under 30Gb we supply storage media free)
- Storage of recovered data for a period of 14 days after despatch of files.
- Additional storage time available at an extra cost per month.
